Global Family is an international network of individuals and groups in over 40 countries. As an important support structure for thousands of kindred spirits and social pioneers, Global Family promotes activities and processes that enable people to experience their deeper connection to one another, to the earth and to their Source. They have been accredited as an NGO (non-governmental organization) with the Department of Public Information at the United Nations for many years and has been involved in sponsoring many UN events.
The Earth Charter is a declaration of fundamental principles for building a just, sustainable, and peaceful global society in the 21st century. It seeks to inspire in all peoples a new sense of global interdependence and shared responsibility for the well-being of the human family and the larger living world. It is an expression of hope and a call to help create a global partnership at a critical juncture in history. The Earth Charter is the product of a decade long, worldwide, cross-cultural conversation about common goals and shared values. The drafting of the Earth Charter has involved the most open and participatory consultation process ever conducted in connection with an international document. Thousands of individuals and hundreds of organizations from all regions of the world, different cultures, and diverse sectors of society have participated. The Charter has been shaped by both experts and representatives of grassroots communities. It is a people's treaty that sets forth an important expression of the hopes and aspirations of the emerging global civil society.

Hummingbird Ranch was created by a core team within Global Family as a way to model the consciousness which is seeking expression in our world at this time. Eco-Cycle is one of the largest non-profit recyclers in the USA and has an international reputation as a pioneer and innovator in resource conservation.
Earth Restoration Corps is a project to rally young adults for sustainable livelihood through education, peaceful persuasion and community action. They have lobbied many governments in support of the Earth Restoration Corps’ principles, including the initiation of a national service program for youth dedicated to environmental restoration as an alternative to military service.
Manitou's vision is to bring the ancient religions that have a heritage and history from around the world together in Crestone, CO. Manitou is a model that demonstrates that it is possible for these world religions to live harmoniously and to pass on these ancient teachings for the purpose of promoting world peace.
Wolakota is a grassroots non-profit organization emerging from the needs of traditional Lakota (Dakota/Nakota) people to maintain their cultural and spiritual lifeways for the sake of future generations. Since its inception, the organization has sought to promote and protect as well as educate others about the traditional values and wisdom of Indigenous People.
Earth Rhythm's primary goal is to unite Native American tribal communities with concerned people, environmental and humanitarian organizations, fostering understanding and shared visions & projects. Earth Rhythm's projects are focused on preserving & enhancing Native American lives and culture as well as promoting ecological & sustainable awareness and living.
The TEKIO mission is to empower a whole new generation of youth social entrepreneurs with the tools and sustainable practices to transform themselves, their communities and their environment toward a world that seeks balance with nature and well being for all.
Kalpulli Kuauhilama is creating a self-sufficient Teaching Center called Tamoanchan, where Aztec traditions can be transmitted and applied as a living knowledge to practice the Kalpulli principles of "family, community and unity. Tamoanchan will serve as a model and resource for the development of other traditional teaching centers in Mexico, and support local sustainability and development of traditional communities throughout the world that seek to practice, protect and promote their ancestral values .
World Council of Elder’s, is a global organization dedicated to preserving, sharing and integrating traditional indigenous wisdom with modern cultures toward worldwide healing, peace and sustainable living for future generations.
The mission of NEA is to build a world of compassion - a world where animals can live free of pain, fear and suffering. Through consultations, grants and our website, NEA helps grassroots groups increase their chances for success. We work hard to find and provide the most effective business training, communication models, and activist support.
